Insurance & Payment
Understanding how therapy will be paid for is an important part of getting started. Whether you plan to use insurance or pay directly, we want the financial side of care to be as clear and straightforward as possible.
Insurance
Inner Spark Behavioral Health is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) PPO and Blue Choice PPO.
We are currently completing credentialing with Cigna and Aetna. Until participation with a specific plan has been confirmed and become effective, services may be considered out-of-network.
Insurance coverage varies by plan, even within the same insurance company. We encourage you to verify your behavioral health benefits directly with your insurance carrier before beginning services.
As our participation with insurance plans changes, we will update this page.
Self-Pay

Self-Pay
For clients who prefer to pay directly or are not using insurance, the standard fee for an individual therapy session is:
$150 per session
We accept cash and major credit cards.
Choosing self-pay can also be an option for clients who prefer not to use their insurance benefits for therapy.
Reduced-Fee Options
We understand that financial circumstances are different for everyone.
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may be available for clients who are unable to afford the standard session fee. Availability is limited and may change as spaces open or fill.
Please contact us if you would like to ask about current reduced-fee availability.
Using Your Insurance?
Insurance plans can differ considerably in what they cover and what you may be responsible for paying. Before your first appointment, consider calling the member services number on your insurance card and asking:
Do I have outpatient behavioral health or mental health benefits?
Is Inner Spark Behavioral Health in-network with my specific plan?
Is Elzbieta “Ella” Wojnarowska, LCPC/LPC, in-network with my specific plan?
What is my copay or coinsurance for an outpatient psychotherapy visit?
Do I have a deductible for behavioral health services?
If so, how much of my deductible remains to be met?
Are telehealth psychotherapy sessions covered under my plan?
Do I need a referral or prior authorization for outpatient therapy?
If the provider is out-of-network, does my plan include out-of-network behavioral health benefits?
How do I submit a claim for out-of-network reimbursement, if applicable?
Having this information before beginning therapy can help you better understand what your insurance may cover and what costs you may be responsible for.
A Note About Insurance Benefits
Verification of benefits is not a guarantee that an insurance company will pay for services. Your insurance plan determines coverage, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, authorization requirements, and final claim payment.
We are happy to provide information about our practice to help you verify your benefits.
Still Have Questions?
If you have questions about payment options, insurance participation, or getting started with therapy, contact Inner Spark Behavioral Health and we’ll help clarify what we can.
